Get all the details about adidas’ new flagship race specially geared to meet the city’s challenges.
Since its introduction in 2013, adidas’ BOOST has been one of the leading sole technologies on the market and has seen huge support from both runners and sneakerheads. Now the German brand has taken the step further and updated the innovative technology. The result is Boost HD – an optimized sole that offers the same sublime comfort and energy return, but with increased support.
Created with the help of runners
The first official silhouette from adidas equipped with the new technology is PulseBoost HD – a new running shoe especially created for big city runners. The model was introduced earlier this summer, and in addition to the new Boost HD sole, the model boasts a special upper in the ‘Adap Knit’, which contributes to the increased support that Boost HD already offers.
At the same time, it has a special outsole created by artificial intelligence – and with the help of runners from Paris, Berlin and New York – offering better grip on asphalt. It makes it perfect for races in cities, where maneuvering is often needed, can be smooth ground and other unexpected challenges.
In addition to these performance features, PulseBoost HD has a number of really cool details – including a QR code on the ruck that opens a custom Spotify playlist, the coordinates of the three aforementioned big cities, and of course adidas’ iconic three stripes along the side.
Adidas PulseBoost HD is available at adidas now in a variety of colorways. Find them via the link below and find more adidas news in our Release Calendar. Remember to follow nmd2020 on Facebook and Instagram, where we keep you up to date with rumors, offers, inspiration and much more.
